In the "Spectacular Seat" project, I arranged to pay a stranger two hundred and fifty dollars to urinate while being recorded and viewed life via closed-circuit video system at the opening pary for the "Keeping An Eye On Surveillance" exhibition at the Performance Art Institute, San Francisco, on September 10th, 2011. The "Spectacular Seat" Web site serves as documentation of that process and its results.
